High surf advisory for Eastern North Carolina for Sunday and Monday – breaking waves of 6 to 9 feet anticipated
The NWS Newport/Morehead City NC released a high surf advisory at 3:56 p.m. on Saturday in effect until Monday at 8 a.m. The advisory is for East Carteret, Ocracoke Island and Hatteras Island. More info »
